Prior to his post at MDF, Greg served as the Utah State Director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), overseeing 22.8 million acres—about 42% of the state. Under his leadership, he spearheaded initiatives that enhanced hunter and angler access to more than 2 million acres of refuge lands, fostering greater public participation on refuge lands.

Greg is a graduate of Utah State University and served six years at the U.S. Air Force before following his passion for the outdoors as a hunter and fisherman.
