Daniel Kaufman is a Co-Founder and Principal at Third Plateau, a social impact and philanthropy consulting firm. An entrepreneur-at-heart, Daniel serves as a mentor, advisor, and strategist to nonprofit executives, philanthropists, and civic leaders. Prior to starting Third Plateau, Daniel founded and managed the Giving Circles Fund, an online platform supporting the next generation philanthropists by making giving accessible, engaging, and meaningful. He has also served as in-house counsel for an educational services and products company and as an attorney at a large international law firm. Daniel is a graduate of Stanford University and the UCLA School of Law. Daniel lives in Sacramento, California with his wife, Talia, two children, Mia and Eli, and their dog, Mochi.
