What Public Lands Mean to Me

What is your favorite thing to do on public lands or in public waters?

One of my favorite ways to enjoy public lands is hiking, especially in places where I can observe wildlife. I am particularly drawn to trails that offer a mix of forested areas and water.

Where is your favorite outdoor spot?

My favorite outdoor spot is less than a mile from my home at Mary S. Young State Park, where there are hiking trails, an off-leash area for dogs to swim, and a calm river for paddleboarding.

What excites you most about working with the Foundation?

I am excited to bring my personal passion for the outdoors into my professional life by contributing to the mission of connecting people to public lands through education and accessibility.

Professional highlights: What are a few things you'd like us to know about your professional background or goals?

I thrive behind the scenes, bringing order to chaos by building lasting systems and processes. At previous startups, I created legacy programs for long-term growth, which I am excited to do with the Foundation for America’s Public Lands.
