Amy Dominguez-Arms is the Executive Director of the Roger I. and Ruth B. MacFarlane Foundation, dedicated to increasing opportunities and improving the quality of life of individuals and communities. Amy also serves as a consultant to foundations and funder collaboratives nationally, facilitating the design and implementation of new strategies, initiatives and partnerships to make progress on a range of social issues. Previously, Amy led program strategies at The James Irvine Foundation as Vice President for Programs and earlier served as Vice President of Children Now, a nonprofit children’s research and advocacy organization.
Amy is the Board Chair of the Outdoor Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Outdoor Industry Association. Amy also serves on the board of Parks California, the nonprofit partner of California State Parks, and on the board of Blue Sky Funders Forum, a philanthropic association inspiring investment in meaningful outdoor experiences for all.
Amy earned her MPA at Harvard’s Kennedy School and her BA in International Relations and Spanish at Stanford University. Amy enjoys trail running, backpacking, and bikepacking in the mountains with her family.
