Paula is a seasoned Senior Finance Leader with over 20 years of experience driving financial strategy and operations in multimillion-dollar non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the Foundation, Paula was the Director of Finance at Homebase where she oversaw all financial matters of the organization as well as the implementation of innovative financial systems and compliance measures. Previously, as Vice President of Finance at First Book, Paula directed the accounting functions of the organization’s $120M budget, the scaling of financial operations and alignment of financial practices with the organization’ s growth objectives.
Paula is deeply passionate about social causes and has dedicated her professional career to working for organizations that advocate for the advancement of education, literacy, access to housing, the empowerment of minority leaders as well as environmental conservation. She is also a founding member of Hispanic Access Foundation.
She currently lives with her husband and two daughters in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. She is an avid tennis and volleyball player, novice SUPer in the summer and has recently begun to give East Coast skiing a try.
