Colorado River Basin Restoration Work

The Colorado River Basin is a vital source of water, habitat, and recreation opportunities for millions of people across the western United States.

By working with local communities and stakeholders, we’re committed to ensuring our restoration efforts will make meaningful headway on improving water quality, enhancing fish and wildlife habitats, and promoting sustainable land use practices that support the health and resilience of the entire region.

In recognition of the pivotal role the Colorado River Basin plays in the ecological and economic fabric of the West, our Restoration Initiatives seek to leverage funds from the Inflation Reduction Act. By fostering partnerships with local communities, Tribes, and stakeholders, our strategic approach aims to enhance water quality, biodiversity, and sustainable land use practices in the basin.
